So the fact is the largest MMO ever to hit the Internet is becoming a movie, probably in 2013. although I would love to not wait two and a half years to see it, I will be patient. The movie is in pre-production as of right now and I can't wait to see details unfold such as cast, trailers, etc. There are so many characters in the WOW Universe NPC wise that it will be very interesting to see what size the cast will be. I can say this, when they made the Dungeon and Dragons movie, it was horrible. So I hope Sam Raimi has a plan for this one. I think one great way to spin it would be to spin it similar to The Lord of the Rings. trying to fit all of the Warcraft universe into one 3 hour film would be to much. Introduce the story from the beginning if the game and run through the expansions as films. trying to create a story that isn't in line with the storyline in the game will turn off alot of hardcore WOW fans. I have some ideas how to cast some of the main characters, tell me what ya think…
