Dancing With The Omaha Stars

It takes weeks of grueling workouts and practice that all paid off Saturday night for the Dancing With The Omaha Stars performers, including Channel 6 News reporter Lauren Squires.
Lauren wowed the crowd at Harrah’s Casino in Council Bluffs with her tango. The event benefits two charities, Angels Among Us and the Ronald McDonald House.
Channel 6 News Rusty Lord is a past champion who thought about recapturing the glory of the dance before settling on being a judge this time around. "I took the John Elway route and I'm happy with that. Go out on top. I have had a couple people ask me if I was coming out of retirement but no, I'll stick to judging."
Omaha Mayor Jim Suttle tore up the dance floor with an Usher-inspired two-step. Former Huskers Chad Kelsay and Aaron Graham also participated.
